• Toast Master 

During my time at Andersons I won the South of Scotland Public Speaking  Championship and started doing corporate presentations. The Glenlivet employed me as their Toast Master, and for the next 10 years I was paid to drink the finest spirits known to man in places that include Brazil, Barbados, Bermuda and Bethlehem (Pennsylvania!)  

In the last few years, I branched out to Cognacs, Ports and Fine Sherries and was awarded a Professional du Vin with the oldest gourmond society (dating back to 1258)  - l'Ordre Mondial  des Gourmets Dégustateurs de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs!
Last year I was awarded a medal for my year's service to the whisky industry - I am now proud to be a 'Keeper of the Quaich!' I also present Chapagne sabering and Port tonging - learn more about Knights of Saber and Tong here!
The more people learn about these fascinating drinks, the more they appreciate and enjoy them. Respect the crafted beverage and learn to sip and savour! 

I was actually paid to play Pebble Beach two years running, and have been invited to the Playboy HQ to drink scotch with the Hefner family and their friends!! Hey sure beats accountancy!
